Quick Overview

Okobos are traditional sandals belonging to the family of Getas, these traditional Japanese sandals. The Okobos are characterized by their large height. They allow Maiko and Geisha to preserve the lower part of their expensive kimonos. The front end is beveled to allow a march quite natural. Our partner who makes these clogs uses the wood of Paulownia, a sacred tree in Taiwan.

Okobos clogs consist of a large block of wood, 8 cm high, hollowed in the center to make it lighter. This traditional model got a dark wood body underlined by a beautiful red tie. Perfect for summer.

These sandals imported from Japan meet all codes in real Okobos. A rubber sole completes the shoe to prevent premature wear of the wood, reduce noise and prevent slipping.
